The call you would normally lose

What happens when you cannot pick up
It runs on your existing number. Nothing to install and no app to open. You carry on working.
The call is forwarded
If you do not answer, your phone sends the call to Heardwell. Callers hear a friendly assistant, not a ringtone and a beep.
The assistant takes the details
It says it is an AI assistant and asks for the name, the problem, the address, how urgent it is and the best number. Short and polite.
You get a text
The job lands on your phone in seconds and is logged in a spreadsheet. You choose when to ring back.
It knows who is ringing
Not every call is a new job. Heardwell works out the type of caller and handles each one differently, so you can tell at a glance what to deal with first.
New customers
Takes the five details you need to quote or book.
Customers with a job on
Takes the message without asking them to repeat themselves.
Past customers and quotes
Notes who they are and what they are chasing.
Suppliers and colleagues
Takes a clear message so you know who to ring.
Family and friends
Takes a short message and tags it PERSONAL, without asking business questions.
Sales and wrong numbers
Politely wrapped up quickly. No details taken.
Straight about what it does
A tradesperson's reputation is on the line every time the phone rings. These are the rules it always follows.
It says it is an AI
Callers are told up front, and it never claims to be a person.
It never quotes a price
No guesses and no promises about arrival times. That is for you to do when you ring back.
Safety comes first
For a gas smell, carbon monoxide, fire or injury, it tells the caller to get safe and ring the emergency services before anything else.
No long contracts
From £250 a month and 30 days' notice. No long minimum term.
Questions you will have
Will customers hang up when they hear it is an AI?
The assistant tells callers up front, then keeps things calm and brief and says you will ring as soon as you are off the job. Ring the demo line and judge for yourself.
Do I need a new phone number?
No. It works with your current number using call forwarding on your phone. We set it up with you, and the assistant copes with personal calls on the same number too.
What if a family member rings?
The assistant takes a short message and the text arrives tagged PERSONAL, so you can see it is not a customer. It never shares anything about you with callers.
What does it cost?
From £250 a month, plus a one-off set-up fee. There is no long minimum term and you give 30 days' notice. Get in touch and I will give you the full figure for your business.
Where do the details go?
To your phone by text, and into a spreadsheet so you have a record of every enquiry.
